The spaces
The trullo dates from the 1700s and has been faithfully restored, adding only what you need to live well today: heating, air conditioning in the bedroom, Wi-Fi. The furnishings are curated piece by piece, chosen to make you feel at home.
This is the room you walk into and where you'll spend most of the day: the kitchenette, the table, the fireplace and a sofa that turns into a double bed at night. Above, the "tavolato" boarded cone: a rarity that few trulli still preserve intact.
Here the trullo's limestone has been left exposed: it's the spot where you can best see how a trullo is made, rings of stone stacked ever tighter towards the keystone. Here you'll find the single sofa bed, the clothes rack and the spare towels.
A separate sleeping area with a double bed, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. Linen and towels are included, and you'll find the bed made up on arrival.
Private bathroom with shower. You'll find towels, toiletries and a hairdryer ready for you.

We're on Vicolo D'Annunzio, in the pedestrian heart of Rione Monti, a hundred metres from the trullo church of Sant'Antonio. It's one of the most photographed lanes in Alberobello: in the evening, when the visitors leave, it's all yours.

Trullo a dir poco MERAVIGLIOSO, curato nei minimi particolari, accogliente, spazioso dotato di ogni comfort. Nel centro di Alberobello, parcheggio pubblico vicinissimo alla struttura. Domenico è una persona gentilissima ci ha accolto in maniera splendida. Inoltre ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni per quanto riguarda ristoranti e street food. Io e mia figlia ci siamo trovate benissimo, in casa c’è tutto! Per noi è stato AMORE a prima vista! Consigliatissimo

Our stay at Trullo Vicolo Fiorito was simply outstanding and exceeded all expectations. The trullo itself is absolutely beautiful, spotless, comfortable and full of character. Staying in such an authentic and charming property made our visit to Alberobello even more special. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the town and the surrounding area with ease. What truly made this experience unforgettable, however, was the exceptional hospitality of Gian Piero and his family. From the moment we booked, Gian Piero was incredibly helpful, responsive and kind. He went above and beyond to help us plan a surprise birthday weekend and provided fantastic recommendations throughout our stay. A special thank you also goes to his father, whose suggestions were absolutely perfect. Every restaurant, winery and place we visited turned out to be amazing and helped us discover the very best of Puglia. Thanks to their guidance, we enjoyed experiences we would never have found on our own. This was one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had. Ótima localização, ponto estratégico para fazer viagens ali por perto. Legal que tem um terraço para fazer o café da manhã. Apenas para estacionar, em cidades históricas, é um caso à parte: tive que deixar em um estacionamento mais longe.

From the A14 motorway, Gioia del Colle exit. From Bari or Brindisi-Lecce, take the S.S. 16, exit at Monopoli, then the provincial road to Alberobello. From Taranto, take the S.S. 172 towards Martina Franca, exit Locorotondo and Alberobello.
Trenitalia to Bari, then the Ferrovie del Sud Est line to Alberobello — or the Trulli Link connection (train + coach), bookable directly through Trenitalia. On Sundays the connection runs by coach. The trullo is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
Bari Karol Wojtyła airport is 65 km away, or Brindisi. From either, it's just over an hour by car. On request we can arrange a paid shuttle service straight from the airport to the trullo: just message us.

Where you are
The trullo is a great base for exploring the whole area: within half an hour's drive you reach the sea, the white hill towns and the caves. But the first things to see are on foot from here.
History
The story goes that the trulli were born of a tax dodge: built dry-stone, without mortar, they could be dismantled quickly before a royal inspection. And in 1644, so the tradition says, it really had to be done.

Bread and focaccia are a few steps away — and the trullo is all yours for eating too: bring back a takeaway dinner and settle in at the table or in the garden.
No, there's no TV in the trullo. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The trullo is on the ground floor, but there are a few steps: one at the front door, one inside and one into the bedroom. The bathroom is not equipped for guests with disabilities, and the lane is paved with stone. If you have particular needs, message us first: we'll tell you exactly what to expect.
